99.94 pct of voters cast ballots in Binh Dinh

The elections of deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term had finished in all localities in Binh Dinh Province by the midnight of May 22.

Preliminary statistics showed that Binh Dinh is one of provinces nationwide having led the country in terms of the rates of voters going to the polls, with 99.94 percent, according to the province’s Election Board.

Five districts saw high number of voters, including An Lao, Vinh Thanh, Van Canh, Phu My, and An Nhon, with 100 percent.

All voting groups have counted the numbers of voters balloting on the day since 19hrs on May 22.

Among 11 districts, 9 districts has sent the results to provincial Election Board, that is, Vinh Thanh, Hoai An, An Lao, Tay Son, Phu My, Hoai Nhon, Phu Cat, Tuy Phuoc, and An Nhon.
