25 poor children offered free surgery

The Hue College of Medicine and Pharmacy’s Office of Genetic, Counseling and Disabled Children donated a total of VND622 million to Binh Dinh Red Cross in 10 months (July, 2010-May, 2011), providing surgery for 25 poor children who suffered inborn heart disease.

Among them, 7 comes from Tuy Phuoc district, 5 in An Nhon, 5 in Phu My, 3 in Quy Nhon, 2 in Phu Cat, 2 in Hoai Nhon, and 1 in Van Canh.

The Binh Dinh Red Cross also mobilized over VND450 million for surgery for 8 poor kids living in Quy Nhon and districts of Hoai An and Tay Son.
