Disabled children happily join an art performance. |
40 orphans and disabled children living at Binh Dinh Social Sponsor Centre in An Nhon district enjoyed many folk games and art performances as well as received gift when the International Children’s Day (June 1) was early celebrated.
Many activities were held from May 25-30. Despite their physical disabilities, many children still joined different games with great enthusiasm.
They then received gifts from provincial leaders and enjoy an art performance showed by the members of the centre.
The event really made them feel happy.
“We want to create a playground for all disabled children and orphans, helping them eliminate the inferiority complex and tightening the relationship among kids,” said the centre’s director Nguyen Thanh Chau. “They are able to learn many lessons through games.”
The centre has now 40 orphans and disabled children and each child has his own story. It received two more infants late last year. The caregivers have to pay special attention to them and they are now able to live better.
Playing together, children were very happy. However, there are still dreams in the disabled children’s eyes as well as in the orphans’ eyes as they want to be as normal as the others.
