According to the initial statistics, over 98 percent of students attended the exam. There were 30 students who were absent from both tests, including 28 no-reason absentees.
The exam ran smoothly on its first day. The local authorities were really concerned about the event, ensuring the public order for exam venues.
The traffic police also patrolled around the city all day to ensure safety for students. All relevant bodies coordinated with each other to provide accommodation, security and food safety for students who came from other districts.
The preparation for graduation exam and its regulations were strictly controlled in mountainous areas. Among 431 twelfth graders sitting this year’s graduation exam in Vinh Thanh district, 59 are Bana ethnic students.
The exam also followed regulations in exam councils in the ethnic minority boarding school in Van Canh district as students and invigilators had been well instructed.
“54 exam councils successfully finished on the first day of the graduation exam,” said director of Department of Education and Training, Cao Van Binh. “There are no students violating the regulations.”
The literature test is quite easy and interesting, according to some students and teachers. The compulsory part requires students’ critical thinking. Many students believed that they will surely pass the literature test.
As for the physics test, many finished the test before the allotted time. All exam questions are guaranteed safety, according to an official of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The students have continued geography and biology tests today (June 3).
