The “university entrance exam aid 2011” program is set to begin on June 26 with the message “Be confident, we’re with you”. The volunteers are now urgently preparing for the program.

This year’s program will see many changes. There will be more volunteers and venues for candidate assistance, let alone a variety of aiding activities, such as the Googlemap for students, free motorbike taxi, and the expansion of hotlines.

Nguyen Thanh Dat, an official of Quy Nhon University, said when using the Googlemap at http://www.qnu.edu.vn, students need to type their names and they are able to view the information about the exam venue and other instruction.

Six groups of 200 volunteers were formed in districts of Tuy Phuoc and An Nhon. They will be present at Dieu Tri Railway Station, Cau Ba Di T-junction, and other hot locations in two districts to help students. The An Nhon district’s youth union also offer some motorbike taxis to pick up students and their relatives to the exam venues with cheap prices.

At present, the volunteers are making every effort to list all free and cheap accomodations to assist students when they come to Binh Dinh in the coming time.

Many businesses and individuals always support the program. Co.op Mart Quy Nhon supermarket, for example, will provide 1,000 free meals for disadvantaged students while Chanh Thang Mineral Water JSC will offer 40,000 litres of mineral water and hats to volunteers. In addition, students will be given free accommodation and meals at Hoang Yen hotel.

The volunteers will also coordinate with the traffic police to monitor the traffic safety and public order at the key exam venues and residential areas. An Nhon district’s Youth union listed 250 free accommodations and 487 rooms for rent with cheap prices, according to Secretary of An Nhon’s Youth union, Le Hoai An.

Meanwhile, the Youth unions in Quy Nhon city and Tuy Phuoc district are also coordinating with the local authorities to help students coming to sit the entrance exams, aiming to ensure safety and reduce their expenses.

The Binh Dinh fellowcountrymen associations in HCM City and Ha Noi are expected to help Binh Dinh-born candidates finding free accommodations when they come to two cities to take the exams.

Hopefully, the entrance exam aid program will be fruitful, leaving a good impression on students and their relatives when they come to Binh Dinh.
