A school always on top
7:42', 10/8/ 2011 (GMT+7)

Quy Nhon-based Luong The Vinh junior high school has seen the highest number of not only outstanding students in Quy Nhon city but students passing entrance exams for high schools in the past two years.

Luong The Vinh junior high school’s students prepare for an extracurricular activity.

After being established 10 years ago, the school has trained many outstanding students. It always has 5-12 students gaining prize at contests of provincial magnitude from the academic year of 2004-2005 to 2010-2011.

Over 60 percent of its students have passed the entrance exams for senior high schools in the past two years. Among them, 30 were qualified to study at Le Quy Don specialized high school.

Dinh Vinh San, a ninth grader of Luong The Vinh high school, passed exams for three specialized high schools this year.

“All teaching staff always try to improve their knowledge and profession,” said the school’s headmaster Nguyen Cao Son. “Teachers also keep in contact with students’ parents, helping them monitor students’ studying closely.”

The school also opens special classes for outstanding students and those who attend the classes are re-selected annually. Its students thus get high prizes at any academic contests.

The students studying here are able to join different extracurricular activities which are annually held on special occasions. They are, therefore, offered the most favourable conditions to fully develop.
