A gathering held by diendantayson.com to share experience in studying.

The online forum diendantayson.com has attracted many young people everywhere. It is not only a forum for sharing information but a destination for those who love activities for community.

The forum dedicated to young people whose hometown is Tay Son district of Binh Dinh province was set up on August 8, 2009. After two years of operation, it has attracted nearly 4,000 students in Tay Son and Tay Son-born people studying nationwide.

Its administration board includes 15 members who are representatives in big cities and Youth union officials at Tay Son-based high schools.

“I was surprised at its attractive interface and its interesting content,” said Huynh Tran Hoang, a twelfth grader in Tay Son. “Joining the forum, I’m able to know more about other friends’ information nationwide.”

The forum has been greatly supported by Tay Son fellow-countrymen association in HCM City, Tay Son district’s Youth union, Quang Trung Museum, and many local enterprises.

The forum’s administration board often organizes different activities and offline gatherings, aiming to tighten the relationship among its members.

About 20 offline gatherings have been held in the past two years, focusing on social activities. The administration board, for example, coordinated with the district’s Youth union to annually launch the “Trans-district journey” to burn incense at martyrs’ cemeteries in Phu Phong town and two communes of Binh Thanh and Binh Hoa as well as visit such historical relics as Go Dai and Vo Xan temple.

“Through the activities, we are able to show our gratitude to national heroes and fallen soldiers as well as raise our awareness of the youth’s responsibility for the country,” said Huynh Thi Diem Thuy, an 11th grader in Tay Son.

Other activities held by the forum are also highly valued, such as summer camp, Quang Trung football tournament, and bicycle club. Attending these activities, young people are able to share experiences, efforts, and failure.

The forum’s members actively collected a sum of VND3 million to help Nguyen Van Tan, a student of Quang Trung high school, who was seriously injured in a road accident.

The forum will be improved in the coming time, according to the administration board. Also, more practical issues will be launched to attract young people.
