Leaders of Binh Dinh Province and Binh Duong Province signed a socio-economic development cooperation agreement for the period of 2012-2016 in Thu Dau Mot town on February 2.
Former state president of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet, leaders and representatives of the Binh Dinh and Binh Duong provinces attended the meeting.
Under the agreement, two provinces officially established a comprehensive cooperation in all fields, especially in economy, service-trade, tourism, and investment.
Two sides agreed to share their experiences and support each other, aiming to improve state capacity and economic management as well as the implementation of socio-economic development plans of each province.
Leaders of the two provinces will take turns organizing meetings to summarize the situation as well as exchange amendments in their cooperation programme.
