Despite difficulties, the Forest Products Association of Binh Dinh (FPA Binh Dinh) carried out many activities in the 2008-2011 period, such as strengthening and developing organisation, promoting its main role as a bridge between local authorities and enterprises, and enhancing foreign partnership.

In the 2012-2013 term, the association set the target of increasing the annual timber export output by 5-7 percent, raising the density of export turnover by 70-72 percent and promoting the percentage of wooden furniture by 35-40 percent in next three years.

Speaking at the annual meeting held yesterday, provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung highly appreciated the role of FPA Binh Dinh, particularly for the province’s total export turnover value.

He also confirmed that the provincial authorities would create more favourable conditions for the operation of the association.
