ITC Spectrum, LLC Co., Ltd is to hold a kick-off ceremony for Vinh Hoi resort worth US$250 million in Vinh Hoi hamlet, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district on December 3. This has been the biggest investment project in Binh Dinh so far.
A high-grade eco tourism resort
Under Vietnam's 2001-2010 tourism development strategy and the overall plan for Vietnam's 1995-2010 tourism development approved by the Prime Minister, the sea and peninsula tourism was identified as the key development of Vietnam tourism.
Binh Dinh and Nhon Hoi Economic Zone have many advantages, playing an important role as the driving force for the economic and tourism development in central coastal region.
Basing on that, ITC SPECTRUM, LLC Company decided to invest in Vinh Hoi resort project, aiming to build a high-grade eco tourism resort for visitors to Binh Dinh.
Vinh Hoi resort, a 100 percent foreign-invested project, will be built on an area of nearly 300 hectares with the investment capital of US$250 million. It also belongs to Phuong Mai-Nui Ba tourist channel. ITC SPECTRUM, LLC Company set up a one-member Vietnam-America hotel-tourism Co., Ltd as a legal entity for the project conduction.
Vinh Hoi resort will include a meeting center, hotel, 18 hole golf course, sporting complex, and eco-tourism preservation site. Vinh Hoi is expected to be an environment-friendly resort. Natural and artificial features will be combined to fulfill the demand of a high-grade eco tourism resort.
The progress of project
As planned, the road No DT 639, systems of traffic, electricity, communication, water supply and drainage, and waste disposal will be built in 2007 and 2008.
The golf course, five-star hotel, golf villa, and other public services will be full operational in 2009 and 2011.
Vinh Hoi has the potential to become a perfect eco-tourism resort and ITC SPECTRUM, LLC Company is showing their striving to successfully carry out the project, making Nhon Hoi Economic Zone become an economic and tourism center.
Vinh Hoi resort and other tourism projects is expected to be soon full operational, contributing to Binh Dinh tourism development.
