The Hai Au hotel (under No 47 Construction Joint Stock Company) has been licensed to provide the international travel service. Binh Dinh newspaper reporter interviewed vice director of Hai Au hotel, Nguyen Van Phuc, in charge of the Hai Au travel agency (HTA), on this issue.

* What is the aim of HTA when joining in the international tourism market?

- After doing the tourism for many years, the HTA have gained some achievements, which are showed by the increase of the number of tourists and turnover. This also means that most tourists are satisfied with services we provide.

Thanks to such achievements, the HTA has gradually become a well-known travel agency in Binh Dinh. Moreover, the Hai Au hotel has all necessary conditions for a package tour, such as hotel, restaurant, transportation, tourist sites. Therefore, after many preparations, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on June has granted the license to No 47 Construction Joint Stock Company to provide the international travel service. We consider this as an advantage to expand and diversify travel activities, better serving tourists.

* What has the HTA prepared for the operation of the international travel service? 

- The HTA has introduced Binh Dinh’s tourism products and famous landscapes to domestic and foreign visitors to help them know more about Binh Dinh. We have also studied routes to China, Laos and the east-north of Thailand to advertise the tourism potential in Binh Dinh and to set tours from Binh Dinh to these sites. Our service will be both inbound (for foreign tourists) and outbound (for domestic tourists).

Currently, we have cooperated with more than 170 tourism companies and hotels nationwide, so we can easily arrange the accommodation and other services for tourists. Additionally, our tourist guides are professionally trained, and they also have many experiences in guiding. And, as mentioned above, we can provide package tours. We have currently opened representative offices in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City so that the HTA can sign contracts with domestic and foreign partners.

* There is now a competition among provincial travel agencies; meanwhile, the international travel service has just been started. So, what will you plan to attract more tourists, and what can tourists benefit from the HTA?

- Thanks to the development of the economy, the people’s income is more sustainable, so the number of provincial tourists has increased. Previously, tourists had to contact with travel agencies in other provinces whenever they want to travel abroad, but it was very inconvenient and expensive. Now, the HTA provides free information for those who want to travel abroad and introduce various tours with very reasonable price.

Alongside this, we always add new tourism sites in our programme to meet the tourists’ demand, and improve the quality of services and tourism staff. To HTA, “the quality is the advantage for sustainable competition”. In fact, it’s the quality of service which creates the trademark for the HTA.

Furthermore, we will continue training the tourism staff in the coming time to improve the quality of the service, providing the best service for tourists.
