Nui Mot Lake

About 40 km away from Quy Nhon City, Nui Mot Lake locating in Nhon An commune, An Nhon District is one of attractive destinations in the central province of Binh Dinh.

The lake provides water for An Nhon, the cradle of Bau Da wine, and Tay Son District, the hometown of three Tay Son brothers.

Visiting Nui Mot Lake, tourists could enjoy the fresh air created by the imposing jungle and the calm lake. Looking from houses on stilts is the lake without any ripples. The song of birds could make those who come there feel a quiet uneventful life.

The highlight of the journey is to enjoy the landscape on a boat. Only when sitting on the boat rocked from side to side could tourists feel excited.

It takes 45 minutes to travel on the lake, along picturesque flooded forests which look like mangrove forests in Can Gio, Ho Chi Minh City.

There is unknown fall murmuring down through the mountain day and night, even in the dry season. The fall reminds tourists about the land where King Quang Trung recruited troops to defeat the Nguyen Anh’s army as well as Qing and Siamese invaders.
