On Christmas Eve, Dec.24, and New Years Eve, Dec.31, both venues will put on delicious buffets of Asian and Western food and BBQ with live entertainment.

The beachfront Saigon-Quy Nhon Hotel has 148 rooms, a bar and four restaurants.

The ground floor Imperial Restaurant serves traditional Vietnamese dishes, local specialties and a range of Western and Asian dishes.

If spectacular sea views are more your style, try the Seaview Restaurant on the eighth floor, or enjoy the sea air at the Cherry Pool Bar by the pool or the hotel’s Gold Sand Lounge for cocktails.

Hoang Hau Restaurant at the Genh Rang Tourist Area looks over the city from a beachside hill. The Christmas and New Year Eve buffets there will cost VND209,000 per adult and VND119,000 per child, while the buffets at the four-star Saigon-Quy Nhon Hotel are slightly more expensive at VND229,000 per adult and VND139,000 per child
