Hoi Van hot mineral spring
8:43', 8/7/ 2010 (GMT+7)

Located at Hoi Van hamlet, Cat Trinh commune, Phu Cat district, 48km from Quy Nhon City to the North West, Hoi Van hot mineral spring is a charming tourist spot with delicate and fanciful scenery. It also has values of heath treatments such as rheumatism, skin diseases.

Visiting the spring in cold days at dawn breaking, evaporated steams thicken together in the air like vapourish clouds and misty smokes through which visitors will find the scenery fanciful. When it is hot, the mist disperses and the visitors will see clearly small water jets coming out of the ground. Along the spring lie strips of white sand – an ideal place for relaxation and sunbath.

Hoi Van hot mineral spring has a surface temperature at around 70oC-80oC (158oF-176oF). It is aseptic and rich of useful and well-leveled minerals (about 20 types of minerals), which are very good for medical treatment.

Going there, the visitors can enjoy boiled chicken eggs which they cook themselves by putting the eggs into hot water pools. They, then, soak their bodies comfortably in the warm mineral water or sunbathe on the white sand strips, feeling at ease with an interesting and healthy trip.

It is said that once Binh Dinh had been the capital of Champa Kingdom, an enchantingly beautiful princess was getting a bizarre skin disease which all doctors failed to cure. At last, her disease disappeared completely after she had been treated with Hoi Van mineral water. The spring is believed to be a gift offered by fairies. Therefore, it is also called the Fairy Spring. Now here there is a medical institute for recovery and treatments with traditional therapies that tourists highly evaluate.

With its breathtakingly beautiful scenery and enigmatical “fairy remedies”, Hoi Van hot mineral spring has been a more and more favourite tourist spot of those who prefer ecological and medical tourism. Let’s go there to enjoy the scenery while relaxing yourself in the rich mineral water of the Fairy Spring!
