A view of Nhon Chau island

Among different landscapes in Binh Dinh, Nhon Chau island emerges as the most attractive destination for outdoor activities.

Nhon Chau island, also known as Cu Lao Xanh, is located 24 km far from Quy Nhon City. Covering an area of 364 hectare, the island is an ideal spot for those who love peaceful atmosphere.

Despite difficulties in travelling, it often welcomes many visitors all year round, particularly in the summer. The first impression it leaves on tourists is a green island in the middle of the sea.

The fishing village is located under the mountain, next to the sand dune. It looks like the eyebrow of a beautiful girl.

The peaceful atmosphere is what visitors are able to feel when coming there. From the centre of the commune, tourists should go along the small concrete path and slowly climb the mountain, where a 119-meter lighthouse built many years ago stands. The lighthouse offers a panorama of sea and the whole island.

Nhon Chau is also famous for beautiful beach which is surely a must-see spot for those who come here. In the evening, tourists will see the moon rising behind the mountain as well as the light of the lighthouse. It should be very interesting.

At dawn, the fishing village is often busy with fishing boats and fishermen with happy faces onboard. When coming here, visitors will have a chance to enjoy fresh seafood with very cheap prices.
